Oh The Things You Will See

Oh The Things You Will See

Oh the things you will see

If you coach with me.

New cultures and places,

Better use of programs and spaces.

Pursuing your dreams,

Is what coaching is about,

Finding your purpose without any doubt.

From “maybe” steps, to baby steps,

You can start on your journey,

The fight is inside you,

It’s your own private tourney!

Oh the things you will see,

When you work with a coach,

Achieving great results,

And bettering yourself,

Or checking off Goals,

You quickly approach!

Theodore Seuss Geisel (better known to the world as Dr. Seuss!) was born on March 2nd in 1904.  One of the things I love about him besides his creativity and longevity is the fact that he stepped out and tried something different.  Something that no one else had done.  He met with a lot of rejection in getting his first work (And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street) to print, but he persevered!  His story is one of believing in who you are, the message you have, and not being afraid to share it!  His works have been a huge hit with my kids through the years and I often give my coaching clients his book Oh The Things You Will See.  Dr. Seuss had his own style.  His artwork was colorful and quirky, but went well with the hilarity of his rhymes.  He was more concerned with rhythm and rhyme than being grammatically correct, and it made his works fun to read!

To finish off this post I will include some of Dr. Seuss’s Quotes.

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

“Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!”
“A person’s a person, no matter how small.”

“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
